Plenty in store for fans who will throng Jinja town in their thousands are driver who are thirsty and yearning to win the Eastern organised rally to have more points.


Jeff Kabagambe the Clark of the course confirmed that, that rally will cover 277km in all, of which 146km will be competitive. Scruitneering will be done in Mukono on May 31 and later the next day cars will be flagged off from Jobia Hotel in Mukono.


Though closing day for registration is Friday, by launch time only 14 drivers had registered; Dr Ahamed Ashraf, Patrick Ssebambulidde, Duncan Mubiru, Patrick Kwewa, Black Widow, Jamir Kyengo, Abbas Twesige, Rogers Kiggundu, Mansoor Ssanya, Hajji Abdul Ssempebwa, Abdul Kapale Katete, Singh Sayini and Jamadah Lwabaga.


Jas Mangati managed a podium finish in Zambia Puma Energy rally last weekend confirmed participation but is yet to register.
