Micho is glad to be a coach in Uganda for the second time having spent two and a half years at Villa Park as SC Villa coach (2002-2004), where he won two league titles, one Uganda Cup and a CECAFA Club Championship.

Micho has also coached at Orlando Pirates (South Africa), St George (Ethiopia), Yanga (Tanzania) and his previous job being the head coach of the amavubi stars of Rwanda.

The 43-year-old is expected to win next month’s World Cup qualifying home games against Liberia and Angola

He has been awarded a two year renewable contract.
