He further noted that apart from the ‘Muhoozi Project,’ the NRM government has many other projects but stressed that he is determined to defeat whoever stands for NRM come 2016, be it President Museveni or Muhoozi.

“There is a lot of excitement in the country about the Sejusa issue and the ‘Muhoozi project’ but all that is because of frustration in the country. There is going to be worse events and the president will try to clamp down whoever comes out to talk about it,” said Muntu.

Speaking to press at party headquarters in Najjanankumbi on Tuesday, Muntu said Museveni’s government is in its final days and soon collapsing.

“Museveni has been losing control for a long time and those are just kicks of a dying horse,” added the FDC party president.

The army has since threatened to arrest Tinyefuza upon return from London for spreading harmful propaganda and making divisive remarks.

Tinyefuza is under fire for having called for an investigation into widely publicised reports that army officers opposed to the idea of Brig Kainerugaba Muhoozi’s rise to presidency were targeted for assassination.

Police have since Monday morning been searching Red Pepper and Daily Monitor premises for evidence to use against Tinyefuza, a move that has been roundly condemned by human rights activists and the US government.
