“The chairman Reconciliation Committee has been in Arusha, Tanzania handling the EALA case which has taken him some time. The party found it fundamental to start with that case and release the report later,” he said.
“The rumors in the media that members are at loggerheads are wrong and should not be believed by anyone,” added Mwijukye.
He further noted that the party president is carrying out consultative meetings with opinion leaders, religious leaders and business men in the country seeking some advice from all Ugandans on how best to capture power come 2016.
Mwijukye added that come June, the party is to host a National Council meeting in which a date will be set for the Delegates Conference so as to extend the mandate of the National Executive Committee to start its work.
