St Mary’s Kitende won their third COPA Coca-Cola schools championship in a row beating neighbours Standard high Zana 1-0 at Kigezi High School.

The 2013 tournament was the last for back-to-back winning captain Dan Birikwalira who is in form six since taking-over from current KCC’s striker Eddie Mubiru two years back. Dan praised the players he has been working with and asked those to remain behind, to keep the school flag high as Kitende waits to defend the East African Secondary school games football trophy in August this year in Lira District.
