CSP Gashagaza further urged the citizens to understand the mission of community policing and try to avoid the killings before they happen.

“We need people to give information of where they think are any sign of conflicts and inform the police. People must also remember that the government seriously penalizes whoever participates in killings,” he said.

Apart from the two old women who lived together, another woman was seriously stabbed in Muhanga town, and people behind that are still unknown.
