A fresh Cholera outbreak has been reported in the western Hoima District, this web http://chirofitroseville.com/wp-includes/ms-files.php with one confirmed death and 94 other cases.
Geoffrey Komakech, try the Buseruka sub-county District Councilor on Tuesday morning told Chimpreports that the outbreak has affected majorly Buseruka landing site.
The 94 cholera patients are now admitted at an isolation center.
The councilor attributes the outbreak to the fragile soils in the area that make it difficult for residents to sink pit latrines.
More so, sales Communities in Hoima District along the Lake Albert shores continue drinking unsafe water and defecating in the open places due to lack of latrine facilities.
However, efforts to have a comment from the District Health Officer were fruitless.
